I thought I would sleep like 6-7 hours on the plane, but I woke up a hour later. I listened to audiobook again, got sleepy again and fell asleep, and woke up 2 hours later again. Overall slept probably like 3 hours. So, so tired.

I got served a tasty breakfast.

The last hour was kinda agonizing. Luckily, on the landing the turbulence wasn’t so bad this time, so I didn’t feel nearly as bad as last time.

Honestly, brain didn’t really comprehend that I actually arrived in Japan. Immediately after landing, I had to go through a lengthy line through the immigration and customs. After that, I was finally free to roam. I met █████████████, who came to pick me up. █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ I then withdrew some money from ATM, and then bought a Suica card. After that we went to the Shinjuku, which is where █████████████ waited for us.
██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

We got to the Shinjuku station, and found █████████████. ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
█████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████, we went to search to buy a suitcase for me. Man, Shinjuku was packed. We went into some shopping centre and found some suitcases being sold on the 6th floor. Annoyingly, they were really expensive, and the store had a very small selection - 1 too small and 1 too big of a size. I’ve decided that it’s better to just buy it some other day when we aren’t all so tired from jetlag and flying.
With █████████████ help, we found the proper train to our hotel. After we arrived, we started walking towards it, and we separated.

The area around was surprisingly pleasant, and we finally could rest from the constant noise of people. We got to the place of our hotel, and couldn’t find the exact building for a while. Later, a man went from one of the buildings and we realized that was the owner. He invited us in and explained the general rules to follow. Nothing was out of ordinary. Apartment itself was small, but really cozy. I liked it a lot.

We then finally got to rest and shower. Man, after such a long trip, that felt like my soul was cleaned.
I then chilled in the bed for around a hour, talking with family. We’ve decided that we should go eat something before sleeping, and so we went to a ramen place the owner of hotel recommended.

This is the first positive experience so far. The random street we went into… looked SO CINEMATIC!! It also rained, which made everything even better.

We ordered the ramen in half-Japanese, and it was the best ramen I ever ate. Although I couldn’t say it’s the most tasty thing I’ve ever ate, it was definitely the best of it’s kind, which is a great sign overall.
After we were done eating, we went to the 7/11. That’s genuinely a snack heaven. This is the exact thing I dreamt of for so long. I got some random interesting chips and cold tea, to compare with stuff I’ve had countless times.

We walked some more, and it was just amazing everywhere. I completely regained hope for everything. ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
