It was really nice to not have to go anywhere today. I as always went through photos and slowly catched up with the diary.

While me and █████████████ stayed at home, █████████████ hiked some hill to the church.

When he came back, we wanted to go to restaurant, but he was too tired and didn’t want to come with us. Most of the menu in the restaurants are quite focused on the seafood, so I’ve decided it’s probably worth it to take a risk and try it out, and we got a mixed seafood platter. Even though neither me nor █████████████ are big fans of seafood, it was still good!

  • Salmon: good, but a bit too salty for me
  • Tuna: Surprisingly great, I even liked it more than salmon, which is usually the opposite, since it wasn’t as salty
  • Top-right clam: kinda weird, mixed opinion
  • Big ass oyster: kinda disgusting, didn’t like. never trying again. felt like drinking sea water
  • Shrimp, octopus, crab: all fine but would be better non-sour
  • Bottom-right mussels: amazing, my favorite of all

After that we got perch risotto, which was very yummy. We also got tiramisu, which I only learnt now is actually an italian dish. I don’t know why but the name always made me think it’s Japanese, lol. It was good, but same as elsewhere.

When we came back home, I finally tried out the Jacuzzi. I’m a huge enjoyer of very hot baths, so I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, and I think it wasn’t supposed to be like this, but it’s really loud when bubbles are on… After like 10 minutes I got tired of the loud sound and just turned it off and enjoyed the bath in silence.

We wanted to watch The Platform today, but the internet IS SO BAD it’s fucking 0.5mbps here so it took forever to download. This also prevented me from getting Davinci Resolve for the Switzerland video I wanna make.

And then when we got the video, the TV is super old and didn’t work with USB for some reason. After a lot of trying we realized its so old it doesn’t support NTFS. We reformatted and it worked but didn’t show the video. So we reencoded it into older format and burnt the subtitles, and only then it finally showed up and worked, but it was already too late.

We went to sleep frustrated.
