A way colder day. It was raining and we were inside the clouds. This time I got a warm blanket and it was so nice and cozy… I didn’t want to get up.

We left the apartment at 10:50. It would take us about a hour to get to the new place.

A rock fell down the road that exits the town, and it’s scary to think that this seems to be a fairly common sight here.

We saw the iconic swiss sheep for a tiny moment and unfortunately this is the only photo I could take of them. I hope we’ll meet them again.

Since we didn’t eat, we’ve decided to go a restaurant. We found something cheap and far away from the centre of Sion. Well, «cheap» by swiss level, because the prices are actually fucking insane here. Regardless, I got my beef with mashed potatoes and ratatouille, which was all very yummy. Had Ratatouille for the first time and it’s good.

They mistakenly overbilled me by 4 franks and they gave me the change in coins, which are useless for me… Kinda scammed but I guess at least I got a souvenir. More coins to the coin pot.
We then drove to our next place. Quite suddenly, all the French names switched to German, and I couldn’t even notice when exactly it happened.

Most of the view was clouded, but we saw some beautiful glimpses through the clouds. We got to Ergisch, which is where our next house was. The roads were really steep here. We drove through what seemed was the town centre and it was really nice, very old-looking. I was surprised by it since it looked like a random modern-ish village.
After driving around for a while, we finally found the weather station (which I’ve never seen before), which was told by the owner to have best parking spot. We contacted the owner that we were here, and waited for him to come. I expected him to come by foot, but he suddenly came by car, which perplexed me at first.
We loaded all our stuff into his car, and my perplexion quickly disappeared when he drove on the steepest road I’ve ever seen in Switzerland. Our shitty little car wouldn’t have drove even 3 meters up that road, but he got a 4x4 which could handle it fairly fine.
After a very short drive, we took all our stuff and walked into the house. It was so cozy!!! I liked it a lot. Thank god for all the nice yellow lights everywhere. We said bye to the owner and rested. I, as always, went through the photos, and worked on the cool Switzerland video.
We saw a bunch of things for raclette and fondue in the drawers, and we got an idea to make our own instead of going to insanely expensive restaurants.
So we went into the car and drove back down to the valley, which already cleared up and was fucking divine.

Supermarket itself was quite expensive, but honestly I expected way worse. All stuff we’ve got for both raclette and fondue ended up costing like 40 franks, which divided by 3 people and 2 meals it ended up costing like 6.5 franks per meal per person. If we went to a restaurant for these, we would literally pay like 50+ franks per person.

We drove back home with more of the divine views. God, Switzerland has it too good. Too good… Did some bedrotting at home and █████████████ started making raclette. Potatoes ended up being not salted and boiled enough :( Learning experience I guess.

It was such a simple meal, and the wooden house only added to the vibe. I felt like I’m a peasant in old times, even though during my childhood I ate similar things in a similar setting. I enjoyed it quite a lot.
It got dark and we did more bedrotting. Thought of playing some games but ended up not going anything. We’ve decided to just watch The Hunger Games 2. As I remembered, this one only got crazier, and at end of it I think we all really wanted to see the next part ASAP. I enjoyed the winter scenery quite a lot.
