Woke up like 6 times during sleep, my god this bed is so ass. Unsleepable pillows, super thin blanket that barely does anything, street light from the window shining right on your face, and extremely hard bed. Probably one of the worst beds I’ve ever been on.

We went out to a bakery and got ourselves 2 croissants each. My first french croissant, it’s good. Almost as good as Tesco’s pig in the blanket croissant /j.

We drove to Carrefour supermarket next. I really liked it, it had a really big selection of foods. We got cooking ingredients for next 3 days and some alcohol. I also found a SD card reader, thankfully.

Interesting sight on the way back to car. We drove back to the house, although we made a few loops til we could finally get back.

We rested for a bit, and I got Lightroom and SD reader set up. I’ve always wanted to try Lightroom, and… this was a huge disappointment. To be honest, plain Photos app on Macbook is much faster and better than this… It’s sooo slow and clanky in comparison. I always thought I was missing out on something great but seems like I wasn’t.

We’ve decided to go on a small hike, which is in about a hour of driving.

That one mountain with a specific peak, is where we headed to. It’s called Dent du Chat.

█████████████'s car isn’t very powerful at all, so it really struggled riding uphill. We stayed in first and second gear the entire time. When there was about 6 minutes of driving left (lol), the car showed the «check engine» sign… Assuming that engine overheated, we stopped and waited for about 20 minutes, but it didn’t go away. We turned on the AC in the opposite way, blowing hot air into the car instead of cold, to help engine not overheat… It was literally sauna by the time we got to the destination.

There was a restaurant right at the top, so we went in and got ourselves yummy meals.

The view was actually crazy. We then went for the hike, although it was a very easy one, as we already did the hard work by car.

Took us about 30 minutes to get to Molard Noir, which we wrongly thought was Dent du Chat for a bit. Dent du Chat itself was the mountain in front of us which the sign says would take 30 minutes to get to, but I wouldn’t believe it looking at how steep it is.

34537.jpg 34538.jpg 34539.jpg 34540.jpg 34541.jpg 34542.jpg 34543.jpg 34544.jpg 34545.jpg 34546.jpg 34547.jpg 34548.jpg

It was a very nice spot. We didn’t really feel like going further to the actual Dent du Chat, and just enjoyed the view from here. The depth is genuinely incomprehensible. It’s so steep you just can’t understand how it is possible to have such a big difference in distance. Coming back was honestly a bit harder than actually coming here.

We thought of visiting the beach for a bit, but were tired and decided to go straight home from here.

We ate the yummy croque-madame by █████████████ and drank wine and ate cheese and played more card games. We also played a game where you count to 21 but every time you get to it you can add a rule to the game. For example instead of 3 you must say Albania instead. If you fail you have to drink and start counting over. It was fun.
