My camera arrived!! I picked up the parcel and had breakfast. Before unpacking the box, I had to fix OldTwitter and OldTweetDeck because they broke again.

I charged the battery, put the lenses on, put the SD cards in, and turned it on. Spent some time learning how to operate it and configuring everything.

It was quite heavy, which made me worried if I’ll enjoy using it at all. I spent some time learning how to get the camera on the neck strap. After all was done, I finally went out.

Apart from watching some random «learn camera skill in 30 minutes» video, I didn’t have any experience with real cameras before. I’ve been enjoying taking photos with my phone for as long as I remember, but it’s obviously a very different experience.

Walked all the way to the castle. Huge enjoyer of wearing longcoat in windy weather… I think camera on neck actually pairs pretty well with longcoat.

I recorded a video of this guy with the camera, but wind ended up being too loud.

I came down to the river and took some really good photos of the ducks.

This camera actually has insane resolution. This looks like some stock photos.

Took probably my favorite photo of the bookstore while going home. I didn’t even enter inside to take this photo.

When I got home, I researched the best way to properly go through photos and edit the results. I didn’t want to pay for Lightroom, and I tried a couple of other options, but none were any good. I ended up just using Photos app on macOS, and it was surprisingly pretty good. Overall I took over 300 photos, but after going through everything I was left with around 50. Only like 4-7 of these photos I could call "very good".
