My parents are coming to visit me in 2 days, so I started tidying up the apartment. Today was the day when AirPods repair was scheduled for, too.
I washed all of the bed sheets and covers and blankets and other stuff, vacuumed the apartment, cleaned the kitchen and took out the trash. I did everything just in time before the appointment.
I took a tram there and got at the perfect time. It was a pretty quick interaction, the guy barely looked at the AirPods themselves and told me that they’ll be fixed in 1-3 days and I’ll get an email when it’s done.
I then went back home.
I think #1 food I miss the most from Japan is curry… All the curries I see on Bolt are super overpriced (literally like 2.5x of the Japan’s price) and have some random weird things in them. I couldn’t take it anymore and ordered the one that looked most reasonable (still overpriced). It was tasty, but not as good as the Coco Ichibanya…
Thesis coordinator told us that we will need to bring the thesis with all other documents and our signatures in a physical form, and I panicked a bit. He also told me that I might gonna need to give Power of attorney to whoever would do this.
And worse yet, my parents are gonna visit me, and only come back after thesis defense is done, so they wouldn’t be able to do it for me. Plus, my thesis advisor still haven’t finished some of the documents that I’m gonna need. I called him, and after an extremely tedious talk with a trillion liters of water, he told me that he’ll finish them by tomorrow.
And the course of action would be that my parents will come to me (at a perfect time), I’ll print out the thesis and all other documents, sign all of them, and then they’ll come back with them and- wait, but they wouldn’t come back in time. And ticket is not possible to move either. ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ After telling the coordinator that I definitely wouldn’t be able to make Power of attorney in time, he said it’s fine without it, thankfully.
Could finally sigh in relief, as situation got mostly solved.

In the mean time of all of this, worked on WidgetStar a bit. Added settings categories, refactored settings rendering and made the code much better overall. Added instance renaming and removal. Also made it so that all widgets and defaults are separated by domains.
