I don’t think I had a single morning when I felt rested so far. Every time it’s quite difficult to get up and get going.

Not the most Japanese breakfast… But this is what I had from combini today. Today we really struggled to find what to do. Everything has a million years worth of content, yet we want to see as much stuff as possible, even though it’s just scratching the surface. Just to see what everything has to offer. █████████████ offered to go to Akasaka to see the shrine and eat some good food.

Wouldn’t say that shrine was super interesting, but it’s cool that such a historical thing is sitting in middle of financial district. And I finally went through one of those Tori paths for the first time, which looked cool.

Not gonna lie, I didn’t like this one that much, but I think it’s because I ate too recently, so I wasn’t very hungry. It was the first time when I didn’t finish a meal in Japan. Felt kind of bad.

We then went to the Hamarikyu gardens. Neat, but also not that interesting, once again. We kind of wanted to do a day trip to something cooler or to hike something, but our teamLab reservation kind of fucked up our plans of that. We booked it for 18:00, which made it impossible to plan a proper day-trip. Le sigh, I’m never booking anything in middle of the day again.

We walked to the Tokyo TV tower, since it was getting close to our reservation time and teamLab is very close to it.

Near the tower, there was a dark cafe in a basement. I liked the interior, it looked really retro. Also the owner of the cafe was there and actually asked us to follow him on Twitter, lol. I checked it, and it seemed quite interesting.

When I just entered teamLab, I thought it’s not gonna be that cool, but some rooms actually blew my mind. There was some cool room that made it feel like you’re floating in space, and there was a lot of very beautiful rooms where you’d want to stay for much longer than we did.

This is where we said goodbye to █████████████, as we won’t meet him during our trip again. When we got out of the teamLab, █████████████ realized he lost his Suica. He tried asking the staff for it, but unfortunately they didn’t see it. Kind of soured the mood.

We wanted to go to Akihabara one more time, since this is our last day in Tokyo, but when we got onto the train there, we realized that it’s already gonna be too late and most stuff is going to be closed. Le sigh, I hope I’ll be able to get the fumo in Osaka…
