Woke up from room being really cold. I left my window open as usual, but tonight it got really cold for some reason. At day time it got hot again… Annoying as hell time of year.
At 12:00 I had a scheduled bank appointment to get bank statements with physical signature. The woman didn’t speak English at all, but as always - we managed. I got the 6 months of statements and then went to print all other documents. Overall I got like 36 pages of stuff. While in the bank I got the response from embassy telling me to also bring my tax statement in addition to self-employment certificate and to also give unofficial English translation of it.

Went to the cafe and put my tax return into DeepL. It made some mistakes, especially in numbers, so I had to look into the ways of changing the text in PDF. LibreOffice saved my ass, literally the only program that could do this. Then I printed the translated tax statement.
I then went to take the photos, and also visited repair shop to ask if keys arrived, since they told me it’s gonna take like 2 days while it’s been a week now. They still haven’t…
After this I finally went to the embassy. For the first time in my life I went through the metal detector. The embassy was just a tiny office building with one Czech woman working in it. She was shielded by glass for some reason and spoke through the speaker. Not really what I expected. I ended up with 42 pages of documents, so it was a bit clumsy to go through everything as she asked me for stuff. It’s actually ridiculous given that this is just for tourist Visa. She noticed that my passport has my Czech Visa in it, and told me that I can comeback and take my passport back tomorrow if I need it, which is nice of her. I got the document telling that I’ll get the response on April 14, which is a week from now.
Went to supermarket afterwards, and for the rest of the day, idk. Looked into whether to buy a more compact lens for Japan trip or not, given that mine 24-105mm is really big… But also very versatile. Still not sure.
